Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 29, 2026

Welcome to Limo Legacy. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of limolegacy.com and our chauffeured transportation services throughout Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. By requesting a quote, booking a reservation, or riding with us, you agree to these Terms. We've written them in plain English because we'd rather you actually read them.

Quotes & Reservations

Every trip we run is quoted individually based on your date, vehicle, itinerary, and service needs. A quote is an offer, not a reservation — your trip is confirmed only once we've received your deposit (or full payment, where applicable) and sent you a written confirmation.

Cancellations & Changes

Plans change — we get it. Cancellation and change terms are stated on your quote or confirmation, and they vary by vehicle type, date, and how far in advance you cancel. In general:

All cancellations and changes must be made directly with our office — not with your chauffeur — by phone or email.

No-Shows

If you do not appear at the designated pickup location within the waiting period stated on your confirmation, and we cannot reach you at the contact number provided, the trip will be treated as a no-show and charged in full. If your plans shift on the day of service, call us — we will always try to make it work before it comes to that.

Wait Time & Overtime

Vehicle Substitution

We maintain our fleet to a high standard, but vehicles occasionally become unavailable due to mechanical issues or circumstances beyond our control. In that event, we reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of similar or greater quality and capacity, either from our own fleet or through a trusted affiliate operator, at no additional cost to you. If no suitable substitute is available, our liability is limited to a refund of amounts paid for the affected service.

Passenger Capacity

Every vehicle has a legal seating capacity, and it isn't negotiable. The number of passengers may not exceed the capacity stated on your confirmation. Chauffeurs are required to refuse boarding beyond capacity, and no refund is owed if service is declined or delayed because your group exceeds the reserved vehicle's limit.

Alcohol Policy

We follow Texas law without exception.

Smoking & Vaping

Smoking and vaping of any kind — including cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, and marijuana products — are prohibited in all of our vehicles. Violations may result in termination of service without refund and a cleaning fee billed at documented cost.

Damage & Cleaning Fees

You are responsible for damage to the vehicle caused by you or members of your party beyond normal wear and tear. This includes, for example, interior damage, broken fixtures or glassware, stains, burns, and excessive mess requiring detailing (including sickness). Damage and cleaning charges are billed at documented cost — meaning actual repair, replacement, or professional cleaning invoices — plus any demonstrable lost revenue if the vehicle must be taken out of service. We will provide documentation for any such charge.

Conduct & Right to Terminate Service

We are proud to provide a premium experience, and we protect it for every guest and every chauffeur. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service, without refund, to any passenger who is abusive toward the chauffeur or others, engages in illegal activity, creates a safety hazard, refuses to remain seated or wear seatbelts where required, or otherwise violates these Terms. Passengers must comply with the chauffeur's reasonable instructions at all times.

Items Left in Vehicles

Please check your seats before you step out. Limo Legacy is not responsible for items left in the vehicle, but we will make every reasonable effort to locate and return found items. Return shipping or delivery costs are the owner's responsibility. Items unclaimed after 30 days may be donated or discarded.

Delays & Force Majeure

We plan carefully, but some things are outside anyone's control. Limo Legacy is not liable for delays or failures in service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, traffic accidents, mechanical failure despite proper maintenance, acts of government, or other force majeure events. In such cases we will do everything reasonably possible to complete your trip or arrange alternatives, and any remedy is limited to a refund or credit of amounts paid for services not rendered.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Limo Legacy's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the reservation at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including missed flights, missed events, or lost opportunities — arising from delays or service issues, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Texas law.

Chauffeur Discretion & Safety

Your chauffeur's first responsibility is your safety. Chauffeurs have full discretion over routing, speed, and driving decisions, and may deviate from a requested route due to traffic, weather, road conditions, or safety concerns. Requests that would require violating traffic laws or operating the vehicle unsafely will be respectfully declined.

Photography & Marketing

We occasionally photograph our vehicles at events — and sometimes our happy clients end up in the frame. By using our services, you consent to Limo Legacy's use of photos or videos taken in connection with your trip for marketing purposes, such as our website and social media. If you prefer not to be featured, just tell us before or at your trip, or email admin@limolegacy.com, and we will honor your request — no questions asked.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Dispute Resolution

If something goes wrong, talk to us first — most concerns are resolved with a phone call. If we can't resolve a dispute informally within 30 days of written notice, the dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and each party consents to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts. Each party waives the right to a jury trial to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at limolegacy.com with its "Last updated" date. The Terms in effect on the date of your confirmed reservation govern that reservation. Continued use of our website or services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
